A highly successful partnership with Caterpillar in 2015 meant that the Driver Safety Systems (DSS) was performing well in the mining industry. The next version branded ‘Guardian’ was ready to be launched as a state-of-the-art safety telematics solution for the Transport and Commercial Heavy Vehicle industry with pioneering driver facing sensors and alert / intervention capabilities. Alphamark was called in to manage brand development.

The next version branded ‘Guardian’ was ready to be launched as a state-of-the-art safety telematics solution for the Transport and Commercial Heavy Vehicle industry with pioneering driver facing sensors and alert / intervention capabilities. Alphamark was called in to manage brand development.

This meant a 360 brand identity and launch program to address a significantly more sophistical fleet industry with major competitor brands like Lytx, MobilEye, SmartDrive in the driver safety space.

Operating as the strategic marketing and integrated communications arm, Alphamark conducted research and ran workshops around market dynamics, competitive landscape, price point, gap analysis, product features and target audience. The new positioning and identity was supported with a global launch and go-to-market plan implementation in Australia and APAC, the Middle East, Africa, North America, Latin America as well as the UK an Europe.

Outcome focused brand development enabled a fully integrated campaign that raised awareness and facilitated trade engagement backed up by state-of-the-art marketing automation. Demand generation ensured a health sales pipeline, successful new customer acquisition and conversions in under 12 months.
